 EEE Alumni Association (EEEAA)

EEEAA is a voluntary organization established in 1996 by the pioneer batch of NTU EEE graduates.  It is an association of EEE graduates with members stretching from the very first batch in 1985 to the current graduating cohort.  Its aim is to build a powerful community with career enrichment, friendship and capacity to learn new things.  An important feature of EEEAA is the commitment to relationship-centered networking. The webpage is filled with pleasant memories of these relationships through event archives and photo galleries of activities such as the Year End Celebration BBQ, Tea Art Appreciation, Wine Appreciation, Coffee Appreciation, Microbrewery Tour, Durian Gathering, Sky Skies and Forest Adventure.  You can join the Facebook and Linkedin to reach out to many fellow EEE alumni that shares the same interests.  To foster stronger identity and commemorate the next generation leaders, the EEEAA Ex-Co had brainstormed, designed and produced a hip, eye-catchy and attractive Polo T-Shirt.  The Polo T-Shirt uniquely represents each and every one who were once part of the School of EEE of NTU.  As an NTU EEE alumnus, you are cordially invited to join the association and be connected to a whole range of networking opportunities which will be extremely beneficial in your careers.

 NTU Alumni Club

The Nanyang Technological Institute Alumni Association (NTIAA) was formed in 1986 when the University was then known as Nanyang Technological Institute (NTI). The alumni idea was first mooted by a group of pioneer graduates who had expressed interest in maintaining links with their fellow graduates and alma mater.  When NTI was inaugurated as Nanyang Technological University in 1991, the NTIAA too, went through a facelift and was officially re-named as the NTU Alumni in the same year.  From a humble beginning at the old NIE campus at Bukit Timah, today the NTU Alumni Club boasts of its very own clubhouse located at one-north, Buona Vista with a host of amenities and services for its elite members.  Together with the NTU Campus at one-north, the Club facilitates business networking and continuing education for graduates within its fraternity.  The Alumni Club is looking forward to become the umbrella organisation for all graduates of NTU.

 OurForum - 大家讲坛

Dated back to late 2006, driven by the thirst for knowledge, a small group of PhD students from the Integrated Systems Research Lab of EEE Circuits and Systems Division had organized themselves to share their specialty and train their presentation skills through monthly seminars. This self-started monthly mutual-learning initiative has spontaneously evolved into what it is now known as OurForum and the participants has expanded over the last three years to include also students and alumni from other schools. From its inception, OurForum has witnessed its pioneers successfully completed their postgraduate degrees and gainfully employed. With the selfless devotion and active participation of the die-hard supporters and new postgraduate students, over the last three years, 34 seminars and professional talks had been conducted in English and Mandarin, covering a wide spectrum of topics from electronics, communications, information technology to non-engineering subjects in investment, property, financial management, economy, entrepreneurship, medical, travel and cross adventure.
Ignited by the simple desire to complement each other’s and expand new horizon of knowledge, OurForum remains a non-profit, harmonious, friendly and interactive platform that advocates voluntarily sharing and exchange of specialty, professional knowledge, life and work related experiences.  It welcomes various forms of learning engagement of a wide variety of themes. Be it individual report, seminar, tea forum or social party, OurForum is essentially a forum for all who are interested to share and contribute their knowledge and learn from others. In OurForum, every participant is encouraged to adopt a unbiased, holistic, accommodating and multi-angle view towards learning and enjoy the process of stimulating discussions.

 Alumni Giving

You know the history of NTU, formed by passionate believers in setting up the first Chinese institution of higher learning outside China, where rich and poor, business owners to trishaw riders, contributed hard earned money to found the original Nanyang University. In addition to this rich history, you share with all your alums the strong educational foundation regardless of discipline that lent skills and confidence to pave your way in the world post NTU. Your relationship with NTU is for life – for the friendships formed, for the new experiences and memories made while on the Yunnan campus and as your alma mater. We hope you will participate in the Alumni Annual Giving Programme, regardless of size of gift, to show your appreciation for NTU.

 Alumni Scholarship

NTU has established the Nanyang Alumni Fund which is part of NTU 21st Century Fund.  The objective of the fund is to provide scholarship awards, the 'Alumni Scholarship' to alumni and undergraduates who are children or siblings of the University's alumni.
Alumni can apply for the scholarship for any full time graduate programmes conducted by the University.  Eligible full time undergraduates of all years of study and in all Schools may also apply.

This state-of-the-art career portal will allow jobseekers to view and apply for jobs online from employers across many industries.  It allows jobseekers to store resumes and cover letters, apply jobs online, create job alert agents and keep track of employers' requests for published resumes

 Alumni Benefits & Privileges

As an alumnus of the University, you are entitled to a variety of privileges that the Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) offers.  No membership fee is required, as the AAO is not an alumni club, but an administrative arm of the University that serve as a link between you, our alumni, and the University.
