Work Study Scheme (WSS)



The School has some part time jobs available for those who require financial needs. Each job requires you to work maximum 10 hours per week during term time. During the school vacation, you are able to work maximum 16 hours per week. You can make some pocket money (range from S$7-14 per hour) while contributing to the efficient running of our school.

Important Note:

  • Students who are on industrial attachment / professional attachment / professional internship / practicum are NOT allowed to work part time.
  • Students WITHOUT scholarships are given top priority for the Work Study Scheme jobs.
  • If you hold two jobs, one from Peer Tutoring Scheme and another from Lecture Recording Scheme, the total maximum combine number of hours per week you can work is 16. Each job maximum working hours per week is 8.

To assist financial needy students and prevent them from working outside the campus after classes which may affect their academic studies, the university implemented the work study scheme. If you require any part time student helpers to assist you in administrative work, events, laboratories, etc; please kindly download the job request form and send to Ai Fang, Please note that students are NOT allowed to do research under this scheme.
