In order to encourage students and their supervisors to come up with the best innovative design, one DIP competition will be held.

All the participating projects will be divided into groups according to programmes/areas.

Each project team is given 20 minutes for presentation, demonstration, and questions and answers.

Each group has one winning team determined by the Chief Judge and Judges.

Each member of the winning team will receive a certificate and the supervisor of the team will receive a plaque.

In order to divide projects into appropriate groups, project supervisors need to submit a one-page project abstract by :

Preparation of Poster
Project teams may choose to show posters in the competition. For those teams who wish to do so, the School will help them in printing with the following instructions:

- Only 1 poster for 1 project team.
- Please use the attached A1-size poster template (56 cm by 80 cm) to prepare the poster.
- The poster is without lamination and hardboard.

Please email your poster to the divisional poster representative (EEE1-EEE6) that is in charge of the poster printing (see the name below) by noon, 30 April 2012. The Poster Representative will email you when the poster is ready for collection. All posters are to be collected from the Division Representative by 8 May 2012.

Project teams may have their posters prepared differently from the given instructions, but they have to print their posters by themselves in this case.
