This is the core of the DIP program. Each project group will be assigned a laboratory. Students are encouraged to contact their supervisors as soon as the projects are allocated. All DIP candidates will be registered on the NTU Edventure system.
Students in each project group may be asked by their supervisors to form sub-groups to work on various aspects of a larger project. The sub-groups may be assigned complementary objectives, where their deliverables can be integrated to meet bigger objectives.
At the end of the projects, prototypes and reports are to be delivered. The students are also required to present their contributions orally to an audience of staff and students, usually in their respective laboratories. Project groups are optional to participate in the Project Exhibition and Competition.
